Introducing the Museum
Daily; 11.30am and 2.30pm
A guide to the themes, history and design of the Museum, and how to navigate this fascinating building and its displays.

The Big Picture Show
Daily; every hour 11.00 'till 5.00
An essential part of any visit, the walls of the Main Exhibition Space transform into giant screens for a surround-sound, mulit-screen audiovisual show. 

TimeStack Handling Sessions
Daily; 10.30am, 12.30pm, 3.30pm
We open up our collections in these themed 20-minute sessions. Join an Interactor for an opportunity to handle items from the TimeStack, and discover the stories behind the artefacts.

A Closer Look*

Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday; 1.30pm
Tours exploring in more detail Museum exhibitions, displays and anniversaries, covering a century of war and conflict.

Building on the Past
Every Tuesday and Thursday; 1.30pm
A walk-and-talk through the 3 shards of IWM North, examining the landscape, architecture and impact of Daniel Libeskind’s first UK building.

Action Stations
Daily; throughout the Museum
A favourite with children and adults alike, look out for our Action Stations, exciting hands-on areas which explore the themes of the Museum.
